Your private driver will meet you at Marrakech Airport and take you to your hotel or riad. Marrakech, known as the ‘Red City,’ was founded in the 11th century and remains one of Morocco’s most visited destinations. Depending on your arrival time, you can start exploring the old medina or relax after your flight.
Spend the day discovering Marrakech at your own pace. You can visit the Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, and the Saadian Tombs, or stroll through the colorful souks where craftsmen sell traditional goods. The lively Jemaa el-Fna Square comes to life with food stalls, street performers, and music in the evening. If you enjoy gardens, the Majorelle Garden is a peaceful and inspiring stop.
After breakfast, your private driver will take you across the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). You’ll stop to visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s best-preserved fortified villages, once used as a trading stop and film location. Continue through Ouarzazate, known as the ‘Hollywood of Africa,’ and the Valley of Roses before reaching the Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic landscapes and winding road.
Today, your journey continues toward the Sahara. You’ll visit the Todra Gorges, where tall red cliffs rise up to 300 m, forming one of Morocco’s most impressive natural sights. Afterward, travel through Tinghir and Erfoud, a town known for fossils, before arriving in Merzouga, a peaceful village near the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
After breakfast, your driver will take you north toward Fes. The road passes through the Ziz Valley, lined with palm trees and kasbahs, and then through Midelt, a quiet town in the mountains. You’ll stop in the Cedar Forest of Azrou to see Barbary macaques and later in Ifrane, known for its European-style architecture and clean streets. Arrive in Fes by evening.
Spend the day exploring Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city. You can visit the Al Quaraouiyine University, founded in 859 AD, the Bou Inania Madrasa, and the Royal Palace gates. Wander through the UNESCO-listed medina, where artisans work with leather, copper, and ceramics using traditional techniques.
After breakfast, your private driver will take you north to Chefchaouen, the famous ‘Blue City’ located in the Rif Mountains. Arrive by early afternoon and enjoy free time to explore. You can visit the Kasbah Museum, walk to the Spanish Mosque for a panoramic view, or simply enjoy the calm blue streets that make this town so special.
Leave Chefchaouen in the morning and drive south toward Casablanca. On the way, stop in Rabat, Morocco’s capital city, to see the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Oudayas, a historic quarter overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Continue to Casablanca, where your driver will drop you at your hotel.
In the morning, you can visit Casablanca’s Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest, or enjoy a short walk along the Corniche Ain Diab. Afterward, your driver will take you back to Marrakech, where you can spend your final evening enjoying the city’s vibrant atmosphere.
At the scheduled time, your private driver will pick you up and take you to Marrakech Airport for your flight. This marks the end of your 10-Day Morocco Private Driver-Only Tour, an ideal route for travelers who want to see Morocco’s imperial cities, desert, and mountains comfortably and at their own pace.

This itinerary is designed with significant flexibility. The driving routes and overnight stops are fixed, but your time in each location is yours to control. You can choose which sites to visit, how long to spend there, and where to eat. Your driver is there to facilitate your plans, not to rush you through a rigid schedule.
When visiting mosques and other religious sites, modest dress is required for both men and women. This typically means covering shoulders, chest, and knees. While the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca is more lenient with tourists, it still maintains a dress code. Carrying a scarf is a good idea for women. Your driver can provide specific guidance before each visit.

Our driver, Karim, was the heart of this trip. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and a very safe driver. Having a private car gave us the freedom to stop for photos whenever we wanted and adjust the day slightly. The itinerary is perfectly paced to see the incredible diversity of Morocco. A truly first-class experience!”

This tour packs in so much! One day you’re in the chaotic beauty of Fes, and the next you’re watching the sunset over the Sahara. The drive through the Atlas Mountains is worth the trip alone. We loved the flexibility of having a driver; it felt like a road trip with a knowledgeable friend. The included hotels were charming and authentic. Highly recommend!
As a couple who likes to explore on our own, this was the ideal tour. We had the structure and ease of a driver handling the long distances and logistics, but the freedom to choose what we wanted to see and do in each city. The highlight was definitely the journey from the cedar forests down to the desert. An amazing way to see Morocco without the stress of driving yourself.
